Terms of Service

Welcome to 4simpleproblems (4SP). By accessing or using our website, tools, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. User Responsibility & Conduct

You are solely responsible for your conduct and any content you submit. You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Modify, adapt, or hack the service to falsely imply association with 4SP.
  • Transmit worms, viruses, or destructive code.

2. Feature Disclaimers

4simpleproblems is NOT responsible for content uploaded by users. We assume no liability for what is posted, but reserve the right to remove violations.

Soundboard & Utilities

Features like the Soundboard, Panic Key, and Tab Disguiser are provided "as is." 4SP accepts no liability for disciplinary actions resulting from the misuse of these features in educational or professional environments.

3. Administration

The Owner (4simpleproblems@gmail.com) retains absolute authority. Administrators appointed by the Owner have the right to ban users and manage content. Banned users are prohibited from circumventing restrictions.

Data Handling

Privacy Policy

We believe in minimizing data collection. Here is exactly what we know about you, and what we don't.

1. Account Information (Firebase)

When you sign in via Google, we store basic authentication data to create your profile:

  • Email address
  • Display Name
  • Unique User ID (UID)
  • Profile Picture URL

2. Location Data & Analytics

We believe in transparency regarding location data.

A. Inferred Location (Email Analysis)

We may analyze the domain name of your registered email address to infer your general geographic association. This allows us to estimate and understand our demographic reach as seen on our History page. This is a manual analysis of text strings; we do not track your physical location.

B. No Real-Time Tracking

4SP does NOT track your real-time location. We do not request access to your device's GPS, nor do we store specific location coordinates on our servers.

C. Third-Party Analytics

We use Google Analytics to monitor site performance. Google may collect general IP-based location data to provide us with aggregate statistics (e.g., "10 visitors from Spain"). This data is anonymized and handled according to Google's policies.

3. Local Storage

To protect your privacy, the following features store data only on your device (LocalStorage/IndexedDB) and are never sent to our servers:

  • Notes App content
  • Theme preferences
  • Panic Key settings
  • Mibi Avatar configurations

4. Data Deletion

You have the right to be forgotten. You may delete your account permanently via the Settings page. This action is irreversible.
